Olympians FC in association with NXTLVL Foundation brought to El Mirage, Arizona the first annual National College Showcase. The event is a 4-day event geared towards helping players gain valuable exposure to pro scouts and college coaches at every level.

Due to the current circumstances revolving Health protocols and Covid-19, most athletes had struggled to show their skills in front of College and professional scouts.

“We wanted to bring the opportunity for student athletes to show their skills and talents to college coaches and universities from all around the country. Together, with the help of volunteers and university coaches, we were able to create a safe zone for the athletes to train and play in front of college and university coaches from all over the country” stated Marcelo Piana, president of NXTLVL Foundation.

During the 4-day event community members and organizations like the vice mayor of El Mirage, Chicanos Por La Causa, YMCA, and head coach of Olympians FC participated in the event.

More than 60 players participated in the event. Out of those players 60, 15 where contacted by coaches and scouts, and other 15 received scholarship offers.

“It was great to see the interaction between the players and the coaches during the event. The players really gave it their all and we are only hoping that this event helped open more opportunities while they continue their education and continue to practice the sport they love” – Stated Piana.
